After a week of sick kids passing germs from one to the next, it was nice to get out on ride w/ Aaron today for a road ride. We stuck to the light traffic pothole roads from Lindon out to Saratoga Springs. Weather was awesome--it just doesn't seem right for Feb. 1.

Nice. I need to dust off the road bike and take it out.
Aaron - I wanted to ski across the lake last year, but no one would go with me and I chickened out. I'll go with you.
Beautiful, feels good to get the legs spinning on the road after a little break. Fun stuff.
I'd either need to rent some classics or touring skis, or use skins and my splitboard. I doubt I'd be able to skate across.
Do you think we could still go across without any problem? Does the recent warmer weather worry you at all? I'm wondering if we missed our chance in January.
